Is it a good idea to fit a sun lamp in the bathroom? Will it provide warmth in the winter?

My take care of is renovating her house and needs a warm bathroom in the winter. The decorator suggested fitting a sun lamp to the ceiling as contrasted with of installing a heater. Is this a good idea and would it be warm enough for my mother in winter? She is 80 years old. Thanks.

I'm not free with a sun lamp, but they have been using heat lamps in bathrooms for years. Just make sure to get the right replacement bulbs. They are the reddish floodlight bulbs like they use in edibles service to keep food warm.
