His uncle, Vernon "Butch" Arentz, of Littlestown, added tractors to the unusual strawberry festival before he passed away this January.
The festival has free parking and free admission.
"Basically you pay for what you wish for," Arentz said. All the proceeds from the food go to the church.
The tractor pull has nearly tripled the attendance of the entertainment, Arentz said. Most of the tractors are antiques, at least 20 years old. And not all the drivers are farmers.
"They do anything," he said, pointing out riders who business at lawn services and oil companies. "Most of them are of farming descent."
Most are local, but some people come from as far as Mt. Holly Springs in Cumberland County.
