Why do SUVs get bashed for fuel economy, but not trucks?
Trucks do use more gas than SUVs in communal, yet it's the SUVs that keep getting criticized for its fuel economy.
Also in Canada, the government has issued a "gas guzzler" tax on all cars surpassing a certain fuel consumption rating, except trucks (they didn't even state as to why trucks were exempt from the tax), so what is it about trucks that turn up tell of them less prone to criticism?
because trucks are normally used for businesses or farms, so they are necessary for many people. An SUV just looks cool, but if you want to carry lots of people you could always ride a minivan and save on gas.
